IP Webcam

IP Webcam is an app that allows you to convert your Android device into an internet camera with multiple view options that you can see on any platform using VLC player or an internet browser.

IP Webcam allows you to record videos in Webm, MOV and MPEG4 (only offered for devices with the Android 4.1 operating system or later). The audio transmission, on the other hand, can be as a Wav, Opus or ACC file (the last of these requires Android 4.1 or later).

The movement detection options allow you to leave the phone pointing somewhere and when something moves in front of it, it will start recording. This mode, of course, consumes a lot of your battery, so it's only a good idea if your device is plugged in.

IP Webcam is a tool that allows you to convert your Android device in to a video surveillance tool. You just have to leave the device connected to the charger (or the computer) and you can keep track of what's happening anywhere.
